You are welcome to come and chat with me at my office (Computer Science 1.10). Drop me an email to check my availability :)

Joining the Cybersecurity Research Group

I need the following information from you before I can be your supervisor

1) Your CV/resume

2) English test scores (you should meet the English requirements of UWA, see >>here<< for details)

3) Academic transcript and GPA summary

4) Publications (conferences, journals, etc) if any

5) Funding plans*

Compile the above documents into a single PDF file and send to my email.

PhD: To be a PhD student at UWA, you must meet all the enrolment requirements: >>>Link<<<

Generally speaking, you will have a Masters degree or equivalent, with at least 25% being a research component.

You are welcome to provide a brief research proposal (including references). I also have potential research topics, which I am happy to discuss further (can be found here). If you successfully enrol at UWA, I will locate an appropriate senior academic as a co-supervisor (great for guidance and later, for your reference).

* UWA and other funding bodies will provide scholarships for the right students only. Typically, you would need excellent written and verbal English, some publications, and high GPA (i.e., 3.7/4 or higher). If successful, there many be opportunities for top-up scholarships (depending on the project, up to $15000AUD per year).
