About Me

I am currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, Australia. Prior, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand from 2016 to 2018, where I also received my PhD degree in Apr 2015.


  1. 30/DEC/2022 - Our paper titled "PP-GSM: Privacy-Preserving Graphical Security Model for Security Assessment as a Service" has been accepted for publication in FGCS!

  2. 11/AUG/2022 - Our group is awarded $150k AUD to work on a project titled: Dynamic two-way communication using gestures for human-machine teaming - Edith Cowan University, University of Western Australia, Chironix, Agile8, and Motium!


My research is in cybersecurity. This includes (but are not limited to):

  • Security modelling and analysis of emerging computers and networks (cloud, IoT, SDN, CPS etc.)

  • Adaptive and intelligent security solutions (MTD, Deep Learning, Big Data etc.)

  • Humans in Cybersecurity (Cyber-human interactions and systems, cyber-aided human missions etc.)
