I am currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, Australia. Prior, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand from 2016 to 2018, where I also received my PhD degree in Apr 2015.
1/SEP/2025 - Our paper titled "Enhancing Reliability in LLM-Integrated Robotic Systems: A Unified Approach to Security and Safety" has been accepted for publication at the Elsevier Journal of Systems & Software!
5/AUG/2025 - Our paper titled "Advanced Privacy Protection in Federated Learning using Server-initiated Homomorphic Encryption" has been accepted for publication at CIKM 2025!
My research is in cybersecurity. These include (but are not limited to):
Security modelling and analysis of emerging computers and networks (cloud, IoT, SDN, CPS, etc.)
Adaptive and intelligent security solutions (MTD, Deep Learning, Big Data, etc.)
Privacy-preserving techniques and their applications (HE, HE for FL, HE for Smart Metering Systems, etc.)
